Top 100 accounting firms now accepting $SHIB, $DOGE and more as payment for their services

Wolf & Company, a top 100 accounting firm based in Boston, recently began accepting cryptocurrency payments through leading payment processor BitPay. The assets it accepts include meme-inspired crypto-assets like Shiba Inu ($SHIB) and Dogecoin ($DOGE).

According to an announcement released by the company, its team is “already working at the forefront of cryptocurrency services” as it prepares to “truly embrace crypto and its growing role in the economy.”

The announcement adds that Wolf offers “expertise in many services to those in the cryptocurrency space,” including audits, tax, compliance, cybersecurity, and smart contracts.

The accounting firm is over a century old and through its use of BitPay, it accepts many cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin ($BTC), Ethereum ($ETH), Litecoin ($LTC), cryptocurrencies inspired by memes mentioned above, and many stablecoins pegged to the US dollar.

The announcement came shortly after XcelTrip, a “next-generation decentralized travel booking platform” that is powered by blockchain technology, added support for payments in the meme-inspired cryptocurrency. Shiba Inu to his rig as cryptocurrency adoption continues to grow.

Earlier this month, a collaboration between leading global restaurant software and payment solution provider Lavu and fintech payment company Verifone is expected to enable thousands of restaurants in 65 countries to accept multiple cryptos as payment methods. , including Shiba Inu.

As CryptoGlobe reported, late last year Shiba Inu was added as a payment method on Binance-backed travel booking platform Travala. The platform offers more than 2.2 million properties covering more than 90,000 destinations in 230 countries and territories.

The growing adoption of Shiba Inu comes at a time when lead Shiba Inu developer Shytoshi Kusama has suggested there’s an announcement coming that will “get everyone floored”.
